Thanks for stopping by my page. I'm James Gaddis, the founder and sole owner/operator of Ridgeline Geographic, LLC, a map production startup based in the heart of Midtown Tallahassee, Florida.

From May 2022 to August 2024, I produced and printed roughly 150 maps for the Florida Park Service as part of my regular job duties while employed with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

In October 2024, I fulfilled a lifelong dream and started my own cartography company. The next month, I obtained my own advanced ArcGIS license from ESRI and immediately began to gather publicly available geographic data with a goal in mind of developing the world's most detailed and aesthetically balanced large-scale maps that are dominated by features of the natural world.

After producing polished first drafts of seven continental Terrain & Seafloor maps, I aggregated the imagery, data, labeling, and research that went into the production of all seven continental maps into a single World Terrain & Seafloor map, which I now sell as my flagship product. The difficult and highly detailed terrain maps of the United States and the U.S. State of Florida, both rich in conservation and recreational elements, were the most recently-completed products.
